John Maidens- Chief Executive Officer

John Maidens- Chief Executive Officer

John is a qualified chartered accountant with over fifteen years experience in senior finance roles within the insurance industry in the UK, Europe and the USA.  He joined First Title in 2007 and was appointed CEO of First Title Insurance plc in September 2009.

Kevin Dick- Chief Operating Officer

Kevin Dick- Chief Operating Officer

Kevin joined First Title in 2001 as Solicitor and Head of Claims. He subsequently held a number of senior positions within the company and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in October 2009. Kevin had a previous career in banking.

Phillip Oldcorn- Executive Director

Phillip Oldcorn- Executive Director

A non-practising solicitor, Phillip worked in private practice in London and Manchester before joining the company in 1995. After establishing the title business in the UK, he spent 2 years with First Title in Australia before returning in May 2005 to develop the European market.

Ian Turner- Executive Director

Ian Turner- Executive Director

Ian joined First Title as Operations Director in July 2000 before becoming Chief Operating Officer for First Title Insurance plc in 2007. In January 2009, Ian was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Groups Property Services Division, which incorporates Live and enact. Prior to joining First Title he held senior positions in both the lending and insurance industries. 

Peter Donovan- Chief Financial Officer

Peter Donovan- Chief Financial Officer

A Chartered Accountant with over 25 years' experience in the insurance industry, Peter joined First Title in August 2001, having spent the whole of his career prior to that in general management and finance roles in the City of London. Peter was appointed the Finance Director for First Title Insurance plc in September 2009.

Ian Borders- European Underwriting Director

Ian Borders- European Underwriting Director

Ian is a solicitor who was in private practice (Real Estate) for over fifteen years prior to joining First Title in 2001. Since joining First Title he has headed up various Underwriting Departments in the company prior to being appointed European Underwriting Director in 2006.
